Blogging Reaches The White House Courtesy of President Obama

I was sitting and watching the festivities today as President Barack Obama, our 44th President is sworn into office, and couldn’t help but notice that they were discussing the fact that the White House website was changed over to the new administration at 12:03 p.m. EST. They indicated that the menu for the luncheon was the number 1 visited page on the site, then I noticed that TechCrunch reported on the website and discussed the White House blog. We have made it to the White House!

As I prepare to head off to Chicago on Thursday to attend another event for Blog World Expo, I wonder about the changes (the key word that got him elected) that will take place and how social media will begin to seep into the mainstream more and more as our new President implements more in the digital world. I for one am looking forward to it. i will be talking about the new changes and the new President Obama on my radio show tonight so come and join me at 5:00 PST and 8:00 EST.

  2. Mr. President Obama,
We need your help, as the Patriot Act is having a negative effect on American Business. We are trying to get funds from overseas, which is all clean money, because these funds will employ new people and keep the other folks employed. We understand that the Act was because of Terorist Activity. However, is there any way possible that your Treasury Department could help expedite these funds which would help everyone’ cash flow. Where the funds are legitimate the should be expedited and not held for long periods of time, as this one area where our economical situation could be improved just by your New Secretary of the Treasury.

Thank you, for your kindest consideration as this effects the national business enterprises. It takes monies that are legitimate offshore funds to make the business engine in our Country keep running.

    Again, thanks,

    Dear President Obama,
I always support you but quite frankly you goofed. I just read where you stated you wished people, organizations etc would stop contacting politicians who do not support our health plan. These organizations and people are your backbone and I, for one, will not stop e mailing those who are not supporting us and our party. I will let them know we no longer accept big business etc running our country and we must have public option. You are biting the hand that feeds you and have created quite an uproar. Surely you misspoke and if you did you need to amend immediately. Quit worrying about miscontent among others, get a back bone and stand up for what is right and us. You are waffling on too many issues, what you campaigned on and what we expect.
I respect, admire, love you but you must lead, must do what is right.
